Disney has announced that characters from the popular Australian children’s series Bluey will arrive at Disney parks and cruises, thrilling fans all around the world. From January 2025, Bluey, Bingo, and the Heeler family will be appearing at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and on Disney Cruise Line itineraries from Australia and New Zealand.
There will be interactive experiences, such as special meet-and-greets, games, and dance parties with Bluey’s moves. The goal is to bring Bluey to life for the families through this collaboration by giving them memorable experiences with their favorite characters.
This will be a few months before the expected Bluey feature film that will hit the big screen in 2027. The movie will carry on with the adventures of Bluey, Chilli, Bandit, and Bingo. Joe Brumm will direct it, and original voice artists Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack will return.
This deal will be a testament to Disney’s commitment to developing its entertainment experiences by infusing its parks and cruises with characters that have international appeal. The inclusion of Bluey is likely to enrich the family-friendly environment for which Disney is known and offer guests new and interesting activities.
As Disney continues to invest in its cruise line and plans to increase its fleet from six to thirteen ships by 2031, it is no wonder that the Bluey characters would fit into its strategy to offer diverse and immersive experiences to its guests.
With the launch date coming closer, fans of Bluey will soon get more information on specific locations and schedules for the characters. This partnership marks an important milestone in the franchise of Bluey, thus making it an even more beloved show in the world.
