Apple is reportedly set to release the fourth-generation iPhone SE and PowerBeats Pro 2 as early as February 11, according to Bloomberg. Though the company hasn’t issued any official event invites, the announcement is expected to be relatively low-key.
iPhone SE 4: A Major Upgrade for Apple’s Budget Line
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to bring a significant design overhaul, aligning more closely with the iPhone 14 series. Unlike its predecessor, which resembled the iPhone 8, the new SE model will likely feature a USB-C port, complying with EU regulations that mandated a shift from the Lightning connector.
Additionally, Apple is rumored to be removing the Touch ID home button, making this the first iPhone SE model to adopt Face ID biometrics. This move effectively marks the end of Apple’s fingerprint scanner technology on future iPhones.
