Apple has rolled out iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, and visionOS 2.4, offering a set of exciting updates for its platforms. The latest versions of the operating systems have introduced a set of enhancements aimed at improving the experience, with a mix of function and entertainment-focused features.

One of the most notable additions is Apple News+ Food, which is now part of the News app. The feature offers a curated selection of recipes, food stories, and special content for users of Apple News+. Individuals can browse through an enormous collection of recipes and food stories from top culinary publications, giving food enthusiasts all their content in one easy-to-access location.

The update also adds a new collection of emojis, which will be accessible across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. These new emojis provide users with even more ways to express themselves in messages, social posts, and beyond.

Yet another essential feature is the addition of AI-sorted Priority Notifications in the Notification Center. It utilizes artificial intelligence to help with notifications, ensuring the most important ones stay on top, minimizing clutter, and improving overall usability.

Inside the Photos app, the user will find new means of filtering the photo library so that they can easily sort and search for particular pictures. The user is also treated to lossless audio when using AirPods Max, which enhances the sound experience.

Apple is also introducing several quality-of-life improvements. They consist of AI-generated summaries of App Store reviews, an Ambient Music control in the Control Center for ambient music, and the ability to add and control Matter-compatible robot vacuums directly from within the Home app. The Podcasts app also gains new widgets, and a new “Sketch” style has been added to Image Playground for creative image editing.

For visionOS 2.4, the Apple Vision Pro headset gets some exciting updates. Apple Intelligence features, such as Writing Tools and Image Playground, have been added, and sharing the headset with others has improved. A new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone enables users to download apps and experiences remotely, and a Spatial Gallery app showcases curated spatial photos and videos.

In addition to that, Apple Intelligence is also available in the European Union for the first time, including native support for several new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

iOS 18.4 and corresponding updates further enhance Apple gadgets with useful functions and pleasant features, improving the user experience overall.
