A JetBlue passenger has pleaded guilty after threatening to shoot a flight attendant while intoxicated, which caused a disturbance during the flight last year. The passenger reported to be 40 years old and whose identity has not been published due to privacy reasons allegedly was drunk when this incident occurred. According to the authorities, at one point, he became verbally aggressive toward the flight crew, even threatening a flight attendant. His aggression became so extreme that the flight crew feared for their lives, and a request was made for assistance from the other passengers, eventually, the plane diverted to the nearest airport.
As it was nearing its descent stage from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport towards Orlando, the passenger began to raise trouble. According to various witnesses, Doe had been drinking throughout the flight, and as the plane moved closer to its destination, he became more unruly. At one point, he allegedly stood up and started shouting threats, telling one of the flight attendants that he was going to shoot her.
