Ahead of CES 2025, LG has officially unveiled its latest UltraGear lineup, including a curved series of OLED monitors for gaming and professional needs. The list of its outstanding models includes the 45GX990A, also known as the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, with its revolutionary 45-inch, 5K2K bendable OLED screen. The most striking feature of this monitor is seamlessly transitioning from completely flat to a 900R curve in mere seconds, really opening up possibilities for gamers and workers alike. With the 45GX990A, LG has tacked on its Dual Mode feature, enabling users to seamlessly switch between resolutions and refresh rates at the simple press of a button. With an ultra-fast 0.03ms GtG response time, this display will show smooth visuals with no perfect fit for gaming.

LG did not leave those with fixed, curved displays out either when it introduced the 45GX950A UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor. The monitor features a 45-inch 21:9 curved OLED display with 5K2K resolution and ultra-thin bezels. In the display, it has implemented the latest DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery. Also, the display supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync, which would facilitate smooth gameplay on several types of systems.

More on the budget-friendly side, LG has released a smaller but no less capable variant. Enter the 39GX90SA, which sports a curved OLED display measuring 39 inches and featuring a wide 21:9 ratio. Though much smaller in size, this still exhibits great colors and deep blacks-which it has in spades with its OLED panel. With multiple USB-C ports, it enables several devices to be connected in unison for a very capable workhorse of both a gaming and a working station.

The new UltraGear monitors have joined the growing ranks of high-performance displays from LG, including ultra-large options and more desk-friendly ones to suit every gamer and professional’s needs. Whether one thinks of immersive gaming, creating content, or even multi-tasking, these monitors return superior performance and visuals.
