Bain and Guidehouse are almost ready to close a $5 billion deal. -WSJ

According to the Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Bain Capital is nearly ready to buy Guidehouse, a consulting firm that guides government organizations and companies, in a $5.3 billion deal, including debt.

As per the report, an agreement could be released by Monday, mentioning the people acquainted with the issue.

Bain Capital refused to comment, while Guidehouse did not instantly reply to a request for common.

In 2018, private equity firm Veritas Capital acquired PricewaterhouseCoopers’ U.S. public sector division and rebranded it as Guidehouse.
